Our Corporate and General Banking Group advises Irish and overseas banks on all aspects of unsecured and secured lending. We have particular expertise in property finance, including overseas property investment.

We have advised on many of the largest acquisition finance transactions completed to date in the Irish market, including the financing of take privates, MBOs and other acquisition structures.

We have in depth experience in the syndicated loan market and the Firm is a member of the Loan Market Association (LMA). Our syndicated loan documentation is based on the LMA standard.

The team has advised some of Ireland’s largest banks on mergers, group re-organisations, acquisitions and disposals. It also operates closely with our outsourcing group in providing an integrated service to banking and financial services clients in this increasingly important area.

We advise on banking and financial services regulation in Ireland. We frequently advise on licensing, regulatory capital issues and compliance issues for banks and financial services providers. We advise on all aspects of offering financial services over the internet.

We also advise on all aspects of derivatives products. The Firm is a member of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) and advises participants in the derivatives market in Ireland and internationally.
