"I joined A&L Goodbody in February 1997 as a legal secretary and was recruited to the Corporate Department working for a Senior Partner which I found challenging and very interesting. I embarked on a two year legal diploma course as I was keen to understand more about my work and I was fortunate to work for a Partner who encouraged me and insisted that there was no such thing as a "silly question"!
I recently joined the Knowledge Department as a paralegal and love the variety in this role. I have a lot of interaction with people throughout the Firm and technically I am responsible for creating and maintaining intranet websites. I liaise with departments who require intranet websites, work closely with the content editors and take great delight when they are finally launched! I was promoted some months ago as Knowledge Group Administrator which gives me more involvement in projects so no two days are ever the same."
